A 17-year-old boy and a 22-year-old man have been arrested by police investigating studies of a cyber-attack on a sequence of nurseries in London.
The Met Police say the pair had been arrested at residential addresses in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire, on suspicion of pc misuse and blackmail.
Hackers had been mentioned have stolen the pictures, names and addresses of about 8,000 youngsters from the Kido chain.
The pressure mentioned it obtained a referral from the Motion Fraud cyber crime reporting service on 25 September detailing a ransomware assault.
These arrested stay in custody for questioning.
Will Lyne, Met’s Head of Financial and Cybercrime, mentioned: “We perceive studies of this nature may cause appreciable concern, particularly to these mother and father and carers who could also be apprehensive concerning the impression of such an incident on them and their households.

Kido didn’t launched any public statements concerning the hack however mother and father and nurseries had been notified.
