    Tesla to Pay $243M After Jury Finds It Partly Liable for Fatal Autopilot Crash

    A federal jury in Florida has discovered Tesla to be partly liable for a fatal car crash that occurred in 2019 involving its self-driving function Autopilot. Elon Musk’s electric vehicle firm should now pay $243 million in damages on account of the judgment, multiple reports Friday mentioned.

    Prosecutors filed costs again in 2022 alleging that the driving force did not brake in time when approaching a T-intersection whereas driving his Tesla Mannequin S with Autopilot lively, and in consequence killed two passengers within the automotive he collided with.
