Alongside the rocky Atlantic shoreline of Nova Scotia, Canadian studio Omar Gandhi Architects has accomplished a house that appears prefer it’s floating above the panorama. The East River Residence, which is suspended on skinny columns, stretches throughout the valley like a bridge between two embankments, letting the terrain move beneath it like water.

The East River Residence is not your typical coastal getaway. It’s hidden by a dense forest in a rocky space. The one method to see it’s to go inland and stroll alongside the shore. The gable roof has a design that matches the land’s ups and downs – it rises over the rocks and dips all the way down to create cozy areas inside.
