CodeWords, a London-based AI agent platform that lets customers run their enterprise on autopilot, has raised a €7.6 million ($9 million) Seed spherical to fund the enlargement of its go-to-market and engineering groups.

The spherical was led by Visionaries, with participation from Firstminute Capital (which first backed the corporate at pre-Seed), Sequel, and Illusian, the household workplace of Europe’s most famous unicorn founders. They had been joined by angel buyers and advisors, together with Andrey Khusid (CEO of Miro), Mati Staniszewski (CEO of ElevenLabs), Hanno Renner (CEO of Personio), Robert Gentz (CEO of Zalando), Ilkka Paananen (CEO of Supercell), Alexandre Berriche (Founding father of Fleet), Kieran Flanangan (CMO at Hubspot), and François Chollet (Co-founder of the ARC Prize), together with leaders at OpenAI, Mistral, n8n, and Zapier.

“One of the best operators don’t wait to be requested. We constructed Cody on the identical precept — an agent that learns about your online business, sees what wants doing, and delivers outcomes,” mentioned Aymeric Zhuo, co-founder, CodeWords.

Based by Aymeric Zhuo and Osman Ramadan, CodeWords builds Cody, an AI agent that learns about customers’ companies and acts earlier than they ask. In response to the corporate, Cody handles the duties the group retains doing manually, leaves them working robotically on CodeWords’ infrastructure, and will get smarter the longer it really works with you. That startup claims that it doesn’t require any code, deployment, or upkeep.

The corporate began as Agemo, an AI analysis lab recognized for its neurosymbolic reasoning strategy by code, which was featured within the ARC-AGI benchmark alongside OpenAI in December 2024.

“However co-founders concluded the analysis, nevertheless promising, was a distraction from a extra vital query: what wouldn’t it seem like to construct an agent that truly labored for individuals who couldn’t afford for it to not? Inside months, that they had pivoted, and CodeWords was in beta,” the corporate talked about within the press launch.

In response to the corporate, in contrast to most AI instruments, CodeWords doesn’t wait to be instructed what to do. On the core of the platform is Cody, CodeWords’ AI agent. It learns the enterprise from day one, together with the instruments, objectives, patterns, and will get to work by suggesting and constructing automations.

These automations run robotically, doing the work within the background throughout hundreds of integrations and throughout messaging instruments. The corporate describes a use case the place a content material company directed Cody to its social media channels. Cody now identifies related content material, drafts posts, sends them by WhatsApp for approval, and publishes robotically, duties that beforehand wanted an IT group to develop and handle.

In one other use case, an automation company constructed a fleet of brokers to ship lead technology providers to its shopper base. Cody already handles 500,000 of those duties a month, says the corporate.

“Not like vibe coding instruments, CodeWords goals to transcend prototyping and brittle automations by placing personalised AI to work for non-technical individuals — each agent runs completely on CodeWords’ infrastructure, dealing with deployment, upkeep, and all of the setup,” mentions the corporate.

Along with this spherical, CodeWords is launching three new capabilities: contextual reminiscence, which lets Cody be taught from previous exercise and context so it might act earlier than it’s requested; WhatsApp assist, so Cody can attain customers the place they already are; and Cody modes, which adapt the way it plans and executes relying on the duty at hand.

“We would like customers to really feel like they’re working with an agent that already is aware of their enterprise. Cody learns repeatedly — so as a substitute of ranging from scratch each time, it’s already fascinated about what you want subsequent,” mentioned Osman Ramadan, co-founder, CodeWords.

The corporate’s purpose is to make Cody the agent that runs within the background of each enterprise, studying, anticipating, and appearing, enabling groups with out IT sources to function like those who have them.
