    Within the more and more crowded subject of humanoid robotics, one factor that makes Basis and its Phantom robotic stand out is the corporate’s embrace of the protection business. That features maybe sometime weaponizing this expertise.

    With numerous inquiries to ask, I visited Basis in San Francisco to get a hands-on demo and an opportunity to teleoperate the robotic. I additionally interviewed the corporate’s founder Sankaet Pathak, who envisions this robotic going in every single place from the battlefield to Mars — one step at a time.
