    GreenTech startup Finnish Food Factory raises €10 million for its plant-based diary products

    Kouvola-based Finnish Food Factory, a contract producer of other plant-based diary merchandise, introduced they’ve secured €10 million.

    The funding comes from the Taaleri Bioindustry Fund I, an Article 9 fund that appears to help the transition in direction of extra sustainable, plant-based dairy manufacturing.

    “Finnish uncooked supplies – notably oats – have turn out to be a staple in customers’ diets. With a few years of experience in plant-based merchandise, the cornerstone of our operations is environment friendly, progressive and dependable manufacturing. We’re excited to welcome Taaleri Bioindustry as our progress associate,” says Tuomas Kukkonen, Chair of the Board at Finnish Meals Manufacturing facility.

    Based in 2020, Finnish Meals Manufacturing facility specialises within the manufacturing of plant-based dairy alternate options for well-established world and Nordic manufacturers, together with Fazer.     Their plant-based merchandise embrace: Oat and pea-based drinks, Spoonable yogurts, Cooking merchandise, e.g. oat and pea-based cooking lotions, Protein drinks, Sauces, Spreads, Espresso, cocoa and tea drinks, and Meal alternative drinks.

    In response to Taaleri, the carbon footprint of oat milk is considerably decrease than conventionally produced cow’s milk.

    “We’re happy to start our collaboration with Finnish Meals Manufacturing facility. With its skilled workforce, the corporate has achieved profitable progress in each native and worldwide markets whereas persistently delivering dependable manufacturing and value-add to its world clients,” says Marjatta Rytömaa, Managing Director at Taaleri Bioindustry.

    The funding is Taaleri Bioindustry Fund I’s sixth funding. The fund has raised over €100 million in commitments, of which roughly half has been deployed.

    Taaleri Bioindustry is a part of Taaleri Group. Taaleri is a specialist in investments, personal asset administration and non-life insurance coverage, powering change with capital. Taaleri has €2.7 billion of belongings below administration in its personal fairness funds, co-investments and single-asset automobiles.
