    AGA issues statement on FBI illegal gambling probe involving NBA stars

    The American Gaming Affiliation (AGA) has spoken out after greater than 30 individuals have been arrested in an illegal gambling crackdown by the FBI.

    On Thursday (October 23), we reported that Miami Warmth participant Terry Rozier and Portland Path Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups had been arrested and named by federal prosecutors in two separate indictments.

    He went on to reward the phrase of the authorities: “In the present day, we applaud the work of the FBI, the NYPD, the Division of Homeland Safety, and the Jap District of New York, and reiterate the authorized gaming trade’s dedication to integrity and collaboration with regulators, leagues, and regulation enforcement.

    “We are going to proceed to work carefully with all companions to eradicate unlawful playing and uphold the general public’s belief within the video games we love.”

    The NBA have stated that Rozier and Billups have been being positioned on instant depart, whereas it critiques the federal indictments.
