The prediction market firm Kalshi has sued the Connecticut Division of Client Safety over a cease-and-desist order that was issued on 3 December.

Alongside Kalshi, the Connecticut division additionally sent letters to Robinhood and Crypto.com, with these cease-and-desist notices being for allegedly conducting unlicensed on-line playing, particularly sports activities wagering.
