    Outlined by its eye-catching use of interlocking cuboid volumes, The Nest, by Daria Sheina Studio, is a prefabricated cabin nestled in a distant wilderness plot. The house runs totally off-the-grid and offers a quiet escape for its house owners surrounded by stunning surroundings.

    Created in collaboration with BC Passive Home, The Nest needed to be transported first by truck and barge, then lastly airlifted by helicopter for its precise set up. Impressively, its construction was put in in simply two days, although presumably it took just a little longer to complete the inside.

    The cabin is located on a 10-acre (4-hectare) plot on Keats Island in British Columbia, Canada, and measures 1,063 sq ft (99 sq m), unfold over three flooring. Its decor, each inside and outdoors, embraces its prefabricated wood development and takes its place nicely amongst all of the timber.

    The Nest runs totally off-the-grid, with photo voltaic panels offering all energy, whereas an incinerating bathroom takes care of bathroom waste. A rainwater assortment and filtration system, in the meantime, ensures there’s ingesting water out there.
