    Merkur Group acquires 11 arcades in Spain and takes over gaming machines in 108 bars

    The German-based Merkur Group, which owns casinos and develops playing machines and extra, has acquired eleven arcades because it expands all through Spain.

    The corporate, which operates worldwide, already has a lot of venues within the nation, however this acquisition will see it strengthen its presence out there.

    The subsidiary of Merkur Group, headquartered in Palma de Mallorca, will even take over the operation of gaming machines in 108 bars that had been beforehand serviced by Operkale S.L.U. The newest transfer has been carried out in cooperation with the Spanish distributor Merkur Dosniha, with the corporate stating this “marks a big milestone within the growth of the corporate’s model presence…”

    It goes on to say this represents “its first entry into Spain’s extremely worthwhile hospitality set up section.” That is all a part of the corporate’s worldwide development journey, with this boosting its land-based presence.

    Talking on the event, Meik Sellenriek, the management board member, said: “Spain is a market of nice significance and long-term potential for the Merkur Group. This acquisition clearly underlines that. We’re proud to welcome round 50 new staff to the corporate and look ahead with confidence to strengthening our market place.”

    Who’s the Merkur Group?

    Though the corporate initially began as a one-man enterprise again in 1957, it has since grown because it now has virtually 15,000 staff worldwide. It now has quite a few enterprise segments which factors to what the corporate now focuses on, with casinos, sports activities betting and iGaming being simply three of those companies.

    The on line casino division, for instance, is answerable for the operation of casinos on-land and on cruise ships. Equally, Merkur Sportsbetting focuses on the operation and advertising and marketing of land-based and online-based sports activities betting merchandise in licensed markets.

    The iGaming division is devoted to digital machine gaming and the operation of on-line casinos in licensed markets.
